Certification demonstrates that the fishery is managed in a responsible manner according to internationally recognised criteria and is a testament to the continued development of Icelandic fisheries.
The Icelandic FAO Based RFM Specification is now ISO Accredited
This is an important Achievement in the Icelandic RFM Certification Programme, states Kristján Thórarinsson, Chair og IRF Technical committee. The accreditation assessment was carried out by an International Accreditation Forum (IAF) member, the Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB) and accreditation was awarded against ISO Guide 65 (known as EN 45011 in Europe).

Golden Redfish certification report available online
On the 1st of May 2014, an independent certification committee of Global Trust/SAI Global awarded certification to the Icelandic EEZ Golden Redfish. The 213 page long certification report has been made available online.
New catch quotas for 2014-15
