Two new videos: Fisheries Management and Cod Fisheries

Iceland Responsible Fisheries has launched two new short films, one about fisheries management in Icelandic waters, and the other one about the cod fisheries. The videos will be available in English, Spanish, German and French. Companies participating in Iceland Responsible Fisheries project can use these videos in promotion of Icelandic fisheries. Companies participating in Iceland Responsible Fisheries project can use these videos in promotion of Icelandic fisheries.

Well Managed Fisheries in Icelandic Waters

Iceland has taken a leading role in fisheries management, focusing on the sustainable use of the fish stocks and good treatment of the marine ecosystem. This video, containing interviews with scientists and people working in the Directorate of Fisheries, explains the Icelandic fisheries system that is science based, transparent, and has been developed in accordance with international law.

Cod Fisheries - From Catch to Consumer

The Icelandic waters offer exceptional conditions for fish stocks to thrive. The cod fishing areas, are vast, encircling the island. This video includes interviews with buyers of Icelandic fish.
