Promotion of Icelandic food in NY

23 September 2013

NORTH Nordic Food Festival is held October 2-7 in New York. Iceland participates in the festival and Iceland Responsible Fisheries supports this event. Many food items are promoted, fish being one of them.

Acclaimed Icelandic chef Gunnar Karl Gíslason of Reykjavík's famous Dill restaurant, collaborates with ACME's Mads Refslund (founder of Noma in Copenhagen), to create a truly Icelandic culinary experience in NYC.  The special food & cocktail menu will be open to the general public, see further information on ACME's website.

About the festival: NORTH is the first ever Nordic Food Festival to be held in New York City. At NORTH, you will have the chance to taste the food from some of the most famous Nordic chefs, learn how to cook Nordic specialities and be inspired by master classes featuring the best of what the Nordic region has to offer.
