Revised standard 2.0 has been published
Revision 2 of IRFF Fisheries Standard published and effective from July 1 2016.
The Iceland Responsible Fisheries Foundsation (IRFF) fisheries standard has been extensively reviewed and updated by the IRFF Technical Committee (TC), Revision 2.0. This is the first full review and reissue of the standard since it was launched in 2010.
Following a 60 day public and stakeholder consultation period which ended 19 June 2016, the TC unanimously adopted the standard on 28 June 2016. The Date of Effect will be 1 July 2016. Therefore, all fisheries assessments to the standard will be assessed to this version of the standard from 1 July 2016.
