Revision 3.0 of IRFF Chain of Custody Standard published and effective from March 29, 2019.

The Iceland Responsible Fisheries Foundation (IRFF), a GSSI registered programme for the responsible certification of Icelandic, fisheries would like to announce that the Iceland Responsible Fisheries Management Chain of Custody standard has been reviewed and updated by the IRFF Technical Committee (TC), Revision 3.0.

This is the first full review and reissue of the standard since it was launched in 2011.

The 60 days public and stakeholder consultation period ended 6th July 2017. The updated standard was accepted and formally accredited to ISO17065 (Product and Process requirements) by INAB (The Irish National Accreditation Board) 12th February 2019.

The Date of Effect will be 29th March 2019. Therefore, all new applications that wish to be certified to the IRFF Chain of Custody standard will be assessed to this version of the standard from 29th March 2019.
