Continued Certification Granted

Global Trust Certification has evaluated the Icelandic Cod Fisheries in accordance to the requirements of ISO/IEC Guide 65, and the certification committee has granted continued certification. They were found to meet requirements of the FAO-Based Responsible Fisheries Management Certification (as derived from 1995 FAO Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries, and 2005 FAO Guidelines for Ecolabelling of Fish and Fishery Products from Marine Capture Fishereis - as extended in 2009).

In the letter from the Programme Administrator is states: "The certificate, which was issued with reference to you initial audit, will continue to be validated through annual surveillance assessment."
