Iceland Responsible Fisheries (IRF) will participate at the Seafood Expo Global (booth #834, hall 6) and present responsible fisheries and certification of Icelandic fisheries, as well as discuss marketing and promotion of seafood from Iceland. 

Finnur Gardarsson, from Iceland Responsible Fisheries Foundation will be available for meetings and discussions about the certification programme and latest developments. Gudny Karadottir from Promote Iceland, is also available for discussions about marketing activities and promotion of seafood from Iceland. For meetings requests, please send us an a-mail.

Minister of Fisheries visits the Expo

The Icelandic Minister of Fisheries, Thorgerdur Katrin Gunnarsdottir, will visit the Seafood Expo Global Wednesday 26 April. She will visit all the Icelandic companies participating at the Expo. A networking session with the Minister will be at booth #834 in hall 6, from 4-5.30pm. 

About Seafood Expo Global

Seafood Expo Global  is held concurrently with the Seafood Processing Global, 25-27 April 2017 in Brussels, Belgium. This is the largest seafood trade event in the world. The event attracts more than 25,000 buyers and suppliers of  fresh, frozen, packaged and value-added seafood products, equipment and services. Attendees travel from 145 countries to do business at the exposition.

More than 30 Icelandic companies 

Promote Iceland organises participation of 30 Icelandic companies at these fairs. Buyers and sellers from all over the world will meet at the fairs, and participation is a good way to learn about emerging industry trends and technologies related with seafood.
