Business Iceland - Íslandsstofa

Business Iceland is responsible for marketing and promotion of the IRF programme, and supporting the companies in the programme in their marketing. Business Iceland operates a seafood advisory committee that sets the aims and reviews the marketing plan of the programme on a regular basis. The committee is comprised of people from the fishing companies, processors and marketing and sales companies, as well as a person from the Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture.

Business Iceland is a public-private partnership aimed at improving the competitive position of Icelandic industries in foreign markets and stimulating economic growth through increased export. Working in close connection with trade associations, chambers of commerce, embassies and consulates around the world, Promote Iceland also assists Icelandic companies seeking to grow internationally. We provide opportunities through professional connections, as well as arranging bilateral events, such as seminars, trade fairs, press trips, and trade delegations.
